Invited to share at communion service

I have been asked to share a brief message for Sundays communion service.

I'm thinking that I will combine part of what I wrote about Cain and Able, camparing Cains sin with Adams, and their inability to confess their sins, to mixing a bit of Paul with Johns Epistle where they say, in my paraphrase.

If any one says they have not sinned the truth is not in them, for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. However if we do confess our sins, we will be forgiven them if we confess them before God the Father, knowing that we can do so through what Christ did in dying on the cross and raising to life again, for he is now sitting beside the Father, interceding on our behalf saying Father,

"Do you see that person there, hear their prayers for they are confessing their need for forgiveness to you, they need your forgiveness, they need your help, and they know that you have promised to forgive them of your sins, for all your promises are yes in Me."
