Does your pet need antidepressants?

This is absolutely crazy.

Zoo and wildlife medicine specialist with the UKs Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, Romain Pizzi, told the Telegraph.co.uk that more pets were being prescribed Prozac.

Tropical birds such as parrots seemed to have been the most affected by depression, Mr Pizzi told the newspaper.

Perhaps the real reason the Tropical Birds are depressed is because they are tropical birds living in extreme sub tropical conditions, and I wonder how many of them were illegally smuggled in from the wild? Where is Dr. Doolittle when you need him?
